I’m working in a different country and want romantic ideas. We are young – early thirties she’s late twenties. She like romance but I always run out of ideas.
I have planned to go home to see her a couple of weeks before she comes to our other place. What else can I do?
Send chocolate? Something else – like what? Flowers?
I was thinking of getting her a day at the local spa or something.

Just the thought that you want something romantic for your partner is wonderful. I showed this question to my partner and he said, " Get yourself to the spa!!!" HAHA Of course, we are an older couple and he jokes a lot but romantic ideas go right out the window. So, I think a trip to a local spa would be lovely!!! Maybe he will get the hint if I show him this answer again.

A day at the local spa is always a nice treat.
You could also think about sending her to a concert- send a car for her, get a friend involved and have two tickets ready and send her out for a nice night.
Or, you could write a series of notes and mail them the old fashioned way- each could be a "coupon" for something you’ll do with (or to) her when you get home.
You should already have a couple something-of-the-month clubs going! Chocolate. Fruit. Books. What are you thinking? Do it today.
Get some video editing software. Put you and your wife’s pictures in for stars of favorite movies. Crude but effective for short clips. No porn unless by request. Please.
Singing telegram by a friend couple with the intro this is how you would like to be to her. Talent not required. They hold hands he and sings to her "Wind Beneath My Wings" or "Macho Man"…it doesn’t matter.
Get a Flip video of you at a restaurant. Talk about little things that happened that day. Ask if she remembers some good time. Put her photo on the other side of table and talk to her. Tell the restaurant people in advance…they might bring her a little birthday treat in the camera frame.
If you can swing it, get a blank theft report from the police (or make your own) and fill it out saying she stole your heart. Put in her picture as a mug shot with height lines.
Burn yourself in effigy. Take a picture saying you’re really hot for her.
Tell her you love her over and over on a recordable sound chip card.

Those are all good ideas!!!! Maybe try something different when you have done chocolate and flowers.– buy her some sexy lingerie and send it to her with a note… saying you can’t wait to see her in this or whatever..
I also like the idea of making some kind of short video using your own pictures (it’s online)…. My brother-in-law did this for X-mas and it was really cute.. This way she can watch the DVD whenever your gone.
